SERVA Triple Colour Protein Standard II allows direct tracking of protein
separation in the gel as well as determination of transfer efficiency in
Western blotting and estimation of protein sizes. The protein marker covers a
broad molecular weight range from 11 to 180 kDa (10 bands, separation in SDS
Tris-Glycine gel). The proteins are covalently labelled with a blue dye, with
the exception of the green-stained 25 kDa and red-stained 75 kDa reference
bands.
The red fluorescent marker proteins allow the use of the marker in
fluorescence western blot systems, e.g., LI-COR®. The standard
is ready to use, i.e., no reconstitution or dilution is necessary.
No
refrigerated transport necessary, stable for up to 2 weeks at 25 °C and up to
3 months at +4 °C. Recommended application volume for a mini gel: 3 - 5
µl/track.
