SERVA Triple Color Protein Standard IV allows direct tracking of protein separation in the gel as well as determination of transfer efficiency in Western blotting and estimation of protein sizes. The protein marker covers a broad molecular weight range from 15 to 170 kDa (9 bands, separation on a SDS Tris-Glycine gel). The proteins are covalently coupled with a blue dye, except for three reference bands, one green band at 15 kDa, a peacock green band at 60 kDa and a red band at 70 kDa (separation on a SDS Tris-Glycine gel).
It is provided in a ready-to-use formula and no heating, further dilution or adding of reducing reagents is necessary before use.
The marker is stable for up to two weeks at 25 °C and for up to 3 months at 4 °C. Recommended loading volume for a mini gel is 5 µl/lane.
