SERVA Tris-SDS sample buffer pH 8.6 (10X)
Non-reducing sample buffer for SDS PAGE, delivered as 10x concentrate.
Ideal
for diluted samples. Due to the basic pH the sample buffer can be used for
labelling of proteins with e.g. Lightning Red or DIGE dyes prior to
electrophoresis.
For reducing conditions the sample buffer may be
supplemented with 10 mM DTT or 5 % β-mercaptoethanol (end concentration 1x
sample buffer).
Contains: 290 mM Tris, 210 mM Tris-HCl, 25 % glycerol, 10 %
SDS and 0.1 % bromophenol.
