Phosphatase Inhibitor Mix I
When disrupting cells during protein preparation phosphatases are released and may dephosphorylate proteins in an unregulated manner. To obtain proteins in their native state it is necessary to add phosphatse inhibitors to the cell extract. The new Phosphatase Inhibitor Mix I is designed for efficient protection of your protein against phosphatases like acid and alkaline phosphatase, protein phosphatase 2A, 2B and 2C, phosphoprotein phosphatase, and protein-tyrosine phosphatase. It contains the water-soluble inhibitors imidazol, sodium fluoride, sodium molybdate, sodium-ortho-vanadate, and sodium tartrate. When dissolving the lyophilised inhibitors of one vial in 1 ml water you will receive a 100-fold concentrate suitable for the treatment of 100 ml extract. Once dissolved in water the mixture is stable for at least two years when stored at +2 - +8 °C.

Phosphatase Inhibitor Mix II
Compared to the Phosphatase Inhibitor Mix I two additional inhibitors have been added: EDTA and ß-glycerophosphate-disodium salt. This mixture of seven phosphatase inhibitors is already dissolved in water and supplied as 100-fold concentrate for the treatment of 100 ml extract. The solution is stable for at least two years when stored at +2 - +8 °C.
