Bind-ET™ with cartridge


Ecological Ethidium Removal System. The Bind-ET™ Ethidium Removal System was specially designed for cleaning large volumes of diluted EtBr solution in an ecological way. The system consists of a reservoir with a cover, a cartridge and a collecting vessel. The cartridge has a binding capacity of > 2 g ethidium bromide. More than 4,000 l of a typical electrophoresis buffer or staining solution (at conc. 0.5 µg/ml) can therefore be cleaned. The cartridge needs no special waste handling, but can be sent for incineration.
Ideal for
  • Ecological cleaning of ethidium bromide solutions
  • High binding capacity: > 2 g ethidium bromide per cartridge, > 4,000 l buffer or staining solution (conc. 0.5 µg/ml)
  • Easy to use: no pumps or valves
  • Easy exchange of cartridges
  • Capacity of reservoir: 4 l
  • Flow rate approximately 3.0 l/hour
  • Normal disposal by incineration
    • Dimensions: 33.5 x 22.5 x 47 cm
