USP. Synthetic nucleoside virostatic with a broad activity spectrum against DNA- and RNA-viruses, such as Herpes, Influenza, Parainfluenza, Measles, Mumps, HIV and RSV. Used also for virus suppression in plant breeding and plant tissue culture.
