Contains high active, chromatographically purified neutral protease from Clostridium
histolyticum.
Neutral protease activity (DMC) ≥ 5 U/mg.
Largely free of other proteolytic activities including collagenase PZ activity. Endotoxin:
≤ 100 EU/mg (Ph. Eur.)
Metalloprotease suitable for tissue dissociation applications and cell
detachment.
Cell isolation with Neutral Protease NB High Active Grade in combination with
highly purified Collagenase NB 1 Premium Grade (Cat.No. 17455) as well as
Collagenase NB 4 Standard Grade (Cat.No. 17454) and Collagenase NB 4G Proved
Grade (Cat.No. 17465).
Unit definition: Neutral Protease: 1 DMC Unit catalyzes the
cleavage of 1 µmole peptide bond from dimethylcasein per minute at 25°C, pH
7.0, expressed in terms of newly formed terminal amino groups, determined with
TNBS. Endotoxin: Ph. Eur. (1 Endotoxin Unit is equal to 1
International Unit of a WHO approved reference standard endotoxin (RSE)).
