AxyPrep™ Plasmid Maxiprep Kit
2 preps.The AxyPrep™ Plasmid Maxiprep Kit is based upon a modified SDS-alkaline lysis of bacterial cells in combination with lysate filtration and the selective binding of plasmid DNA to special AxyPrep™ purification columns. The protocol provides simple, rapid and efficient method for the isolation of highly purified plasmid DNA. The yield of plasmid is up to 500 µg. The entire purification process can be completed in 45 minutes. Plasmid prepared by this method will exhibit excellent performance in any application requiring highly purified plasmid DNA in larger quantities, such as mammalian cell transfection, etc. Also suited for DNA sequencing, restriction digestion, in vitro transcription and bacterial transformation.
