AxyPrep™ Multisource Genomic DNA Miniprep Kit

The AxyPrep™ Multisource Genomic DNA Miniprep Kit is designed to purify genomic DNA from animal and plant tissue, cultured cells and yeast. Proteins, pigments, carbohydrates and lipids are efficiently segregated from the genomic DNA by a unique two-phase partitioning technology. Genomic DNA prepared by this method is approximately ≥ 30 kb in length and is suitable for a variety of applications, such as PCR, Southern blotting, restriction, etc.
  • Protocols for animal tissues, plant tissues, cultured cells and yeast
  • Up to 20 µg of highly purified genomic DNA
  • Rapid spin and vacuum protocols
  • High molecular weight genomic DNA product (≥ 30 kb)
  • No alcohol precipitation
  • Suitable for many downstream applications
  • Three kit sizes
