The Hoefer PS200HC power supply (200 V, 2000 mA, 200 W) is suitable for all applications where high current is needed(e. g. blotting of large format gels). It can be set to run in constant current or constant voltage mode, with automatic crossover. The run conditions can be changed during run. The power supply has 4 sets of output jackets to run four systems simultaneously. Safety features include open circuit detetction, sudden load changes, and over voltage protection. It is lightweight and has convenient handles to be carried easily.
