The SEA 2000® Electrophoresis Apparatus (patented) provides unparalleled reproducibility, speed and convenience for your DNA and RNA electrophoresis. In combination with Elchrom gels the SEA 2000® covers applications that require a regular submarine plus a vertical or flatbed system. With the SEA 2000® it is possible to get the best and fastest results in many applications such as PCR checking, RFLP, microsatellites, point mutation analysis (SSCP), etc.
The apparatus is ideally suited for high throughput academic and industrial research as well as for high quality research and routine diagnostic applications. It is the best solution for the most demanding analysis in which full control of all electrophoresis conditions are required.
In the SEA 2000® the specially designed heat exchange element keeps the temperature of the running buffer constant and the buffer circulation system guarantees an even buffer flow. The electrodes are positioned in the gel plane, providing a uniform electric field in the gel compartment.
Including PDC Pump Delay Controller, Catamarans S-8, S-12 & S-26/400, 50 ml of 40x running buffer stock solution, special forceps and instruction manual.
