Strong inhibitor of papain, trypsin, cathepsin A and B. Inhibits to a smaller extent also plasmin (1). Inhibits transformation of NIH3T3 cells after transfection with an activated H-ras oncogene (2). Inhibition of RNA synthesis in embryos of Xenopus laevis (3).
