Protein Sample Preparation

Kits cover sample preparation steps from concentration, buffer exchange,
removal of interfering substances, tryptic digestion of proteins to abundant
serum protein depletion or recombinant protein extraction from E. coli.
The
produced samples can be used directly in applications such as SDS-, 2D or
native PAGE, microarrays, immunoblotting, mass spectrometry, and others.
In addition to the BluePrep series, SERVA offers a wide range of detergents for solubilization of membrane proteins and protease and phosphatase inhibitors for sample protection during purification.
Whenever viscosity caused by nucleic acids is a problem, DNAse S recombinant
(cat. no. 18540) is ideal for sample preparation in electrophoresis or
chromatography and for purification of proteins and other biologicals.
