Protease Inhibitor Mixes

The protease inhibitor components of SERVA Protease Inhibitor Mixes are effective against the most common proteases like:

  • asparate proteases
  • metallo proteases
  • cysteine proteases
  • serine proteases.
    • The mixes contain different protease inhibitors at concentrations suited to protect proteins during isolation processes from Bacteria (Mix B), fungi (Mix FY), yeast (Mix FY), plant (Mix P) and mammalian cells (Mix M). For general applications the water soluble Mix G is best used. When using His-tag technology, Mix HP and HP Plus is recommended to protect your recombinant protein against proteolytic degradation.
